On December 31, the Hunan Women's Federation sent a Letter of Gratitude to the volunteer lawyers of Tiandiren Law Firm who are members of the Public Legal Support Group for Caring for Women and Children (hereinafter referred to as the "Legal Support Group"), expressing their gratitude to the 33 lawyers of Tiandiren for providing legal consulting, legal aid, duty services and other services for protecting the rights of women and children in Hunan over the past two years.
The "Legal Support Group" is a volunteer activity jointly organized by Hunan Women's Federation and the Administrative Committee of Membership Institute of Hunan Lawyer Association in 2019. The aim of the activity is to provide pro bono legal services and legal aid for women and children. In order to make the activity more successful, a group of volunteer lawyers were recruited to provide legal services.
Thirty-three lawyers of Tiandiren have signed up as volunteers to provide support. Over the past two years, volunteer lawyers have been on duty at Hunan Women's Federation Legal Aid Center, providing legal aid and legal support for women and children across the province, and have received and helped nearly 1,000 people.
