çThis is a major event in the development of education in China, with a strong guiding significance for teachers to carry out their educational and teaching work. It is also a product of the long-term infiltration of the civilization of the rule of law and the historical inheritance of respect for teachers and valuing education. Moreover, it is a result of the positive interaction between the central government's concern and the local legislation.
In practice, the majority of primary and secondary schools and teachers are still hesitant to use or too noble to use the educational discipline, and many teachers have been charged for violating the red line of educational discipline.
As a professional team committed to providing legal services for primary and secondary schools for a long time, lawyer Wu Xianhua, the team leader of Tiandiren Education Legal Service Team, actively preached such rules in many primary and secondary schools in Changsha after the promulgation of the Rules, with up to hundreds of presentations and thousands of students and teachers participated in the talks.
After those lectures, in order to break the limitations of offline presentations and better publicise the Rules, lawyer Wu Xianhua led a team of lawyers, including Zeng Xiuwei, Yu Mingna, Sun Biaoliang, Wu Yazhou and Li Wanqiu, to sort out and summarize their practical experience of serving educational institutions over the years, and based on the offline lectures and practice in nearly half a year, wrote a 150,000-word book entitled the "Understanding and Application of Educational Disciplines", which was published recently by Jiuzhou Press.
As the first monograph in our country specially interpreting the rules of educational discipline, Understanding and Application of Educational Disciplines comprehensively expounds the basic issues, basic principles, implementation, measures and application, "red lines" and consequences, remedial rights, rules and regulations, home-school cooperation, guidance and supervision and other relevant contents. The publication of this book fills the gap in domestic monographs on the interpretation of the rules of educational displines, and plays a positive guiding value for primary and secondary schools and teachers to correctly understand and apply educational displines. Meanwhile, the implementation of educational displines will also force primary and secondary school teachers to generally enhance their awareness of the rule of law, and greatly promote the construction of schools and society ruled by law.
